It is a rising market locally, due in part to lack of supply, and many agents are complaining of limited stock with new instructions as thin on the ground as a proverbial rocking horse offering.
We are due to complete on one property and exchange on another imminently but fortunately have instructions to market several properties in the near future. This includes the launch of a quality new home development in West Haddon comprising four houses which are currently under construction to a very high standard.
Also new to the market is a good sized two bedroom flat located just off the Billing Road close to the general hospital with an asking price of £112,500. This would represent an excellent first time purchase or Buy to Let investment with a great yield. Further new instructions coming to fruition are a two bedroom Victorian terrace house in Denmark Road, again close to the hospital, which will be available at £155,000 and a good sized four bedroomed house in East Hunsbury which will be available shortly.
We have a number of rental properties currently available with more coming to the market in the near future. Finally, it amazes us the number of letters from other agents that miraculously arrive on the doormat as soon as we start marketing a property.......sometimes as many as four from the same agent. What a waste of money........this is probably why most charge more fees than us!!!
By the way, congrats to the England cricket team, watched the first day of the first test in Brighton whilst meeting a client.....................best piece of test match cricket ever since Botham. Rugby boys turn next....Come on England!!!
